If you are struggling with your mental health, there are many services available, which you don't need to see a GP to access.
Melo Cymru is an excellent website which has lots of self help advice and access to online Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Patients are able to contact NHS 111 24 hours a day, 7 days a week if they are having a crisis and specialist mental health workers are available for support
The surgery also provides access to a Psychological Health Practitioner (PHP) Jamie Carron and Charlotte Holding who can help patients with mild to moderate symptoms of anxiety and depression. They provide 45 minute appointments and these appointments can be booked through reception. Patients do not need to see a GP first to book these appointments to see Jamie or Charlotte. Caerphilly County Borough Council and other various partner organisations including Health & Social care Professionals, also have a Wellbeing Connectors service. If you are over 18 you can self refer to this service. Please see link below.
If, of course, you feel you need to speak to a GP, then you can book an appointment.
